Maria Herrera Twelve Suicide

Little Maria Herrera was twelve years old and in the sixth grade when she took her own life due to bullying in school. According to her friends and family Maria Herrera was teased because she wore braces and the bullies went so far as to cutting her hair. Maria Herrera parents went to the school to make them aware of the bullying and for them to do something but the school ignored their pleas. Maria Herrera even told a guidance counselor at school that she had thoughts of suicide and again the twelve year old pleas for help were ignored. In the end twelve year old Maria Herrera would take her own life and the school refuses to accept responsibility
