Sladjana Vidovic Sixteen Suicide

Sladjana Vidovic was just sixteen years old when she took her own life after constant bullying at school. Sladjana Vidovic had recently moved to Mentor Ohio from Croatia and instead of finding friendship she found fellow students who tease her about her name, bully her about her accent and made her life a living hell. After Sladjana Vidovic took her own life it opened the door to three other suicides that had taken place in the small community in the previous two years. Parents of Sladjana Vidovic and of another teen who took their life sued the school claiming among other things the schools inability to protect their children. When the parents of the teens asked for the records of what the school did to keep their children safe the school replied that the files were destroyed when they switched over their records to computer format. Mentor Ohio was once named one of the best places to live in the United States but with Sladjana Vidovic suicide and three others in such a short time span I find this very hard to believe
