Tyler Clementi Eighteen Suicide

Tyler Clementi suicide at Rutgers University set off a chain of events that put bullying once again into the spotlight. Tyler Clementi had an encounter with a man he met online but unknowing to him it was taped by roommate Dharum Ravi and fellow student Molly Wei. When Tyler Clementi found out that his encounter was taped he walked to the George Washington Bridge and jumped to his death. Since Tyler Clementi death Dharum Ravi faces a wide variety of charges and Molly Wei had all charges against her and will testify against Dharum Ravi when he goes to trial. Tyler Clementi death opened the door to a ton of topics regarding bullying including whether the act should be considered a hate crime a sentiment that I share.
